The American Basketball Association (ABA) is an American semi-professional men’s basketball “minor” league that was founded in 1999. We have a team right here in San Diego that many people are unfamiliar with! The San Diego Surf Basketball Team is a San Diego based professional team and they have several homes games a season at the Hour Glass Arena at Miramar College! Games include high-flying, fast-paced action, dance team, dj, m/c and other crowd pleasing entertainment!
OTV Sport Stories covered the San Diego Surf ABA Basketball Game versus the Henderson Nevada Night Hawks! Jeremy Dozier of Oakwood Escrow Escondido got some great interviews with some players and coaches! The interviews included; Ross Kurland the San Diego Surf Owner, Tyrone Shelley a player and coach for San Diego Surf, David Reichner the head coach for San Diego Surf, and Jerry Dupree a player and coach for San Diego Surf!
We had a blast being there and supporting our San Diego ABA Team! You should definitely check out a game one afternoon and bring the family along!
