Brenda Handley has over 41 years of escrow experience. She has extensive experience in residential sales, refinances, unimproved land, estate sales, mobile home sales, rental properties, short sales and hard money financing. Brenda is obsessive about details which is critical being the Chief Risk Management Officer. She works very hard to ensure Oakwood is following all policies and procedures in this ever changing industry. She is always educating herself on any new changes involving our DFPI Guidelines, RESPA, CFPB and all of our other regulating bodies.

Brenda is currently a member of the California Escrow Association and San Diego Escrow Association and believes education is critical in this industry.

Brenda has been married to her high school sweetheart for 44 years. She is native to San Diego and loves living in the back country. Brenda is a “homebody” and likes nothing better than spending time with her family and enjoys the simple country life. She enjoys bird watching, movies, gardening, wood working and cooking.
